One Cloth, One Cure

When I signed up to be a Silpada Designs Representative in May and saw that a portion of Polishing Cloth sales went to the JDRF, I thought to myself, "What a nice thing for a company to do.” I didn't really give it another thought until I got a call from my good friend Kathryn. She was in route to the hospital with Elliot, her 8-year-old son. Elliot was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and spent two nights in the hospital. He and my daughter Emma have been best buddies for five years, so his diagnosis came as a blow. Immediately I wanted to help in any way I could, and then I remembered the Polishing Cloths. This cause has now touched my heart, and I’ve since become a woman with a mission—to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes, one cloth at a time!
